The Lake Anna Business Partnership marked it’s 20th anniversary at a special Business After Hours held September 20 at Lake Anna Winery.
Past presidents, founding members and past officers were recognized in a special legacy video project produced by Lake Anna Life Media group.
Founding member and the group’s first president, Steve Mudre was the keynote speaker. He noted why he started the business group and thanked founding members like Olivia Ryan, C.C. McCotter, Linda Martunessen and Dick Lukstat.
“I become involved out of the simple desire to bring more visitors and tourism to the lake, and hopefully business development would follow,” Mudre told Life & Times.
“A collective marketing effort from businesses was a proven way for us to do that.”
