Lake Anna residents will soon have another restaurant option, this one in the down lake region.
The owners of El Patron restaurants (one in Spotsylvania at Spotsylvania Commons and one in Stafford) have entered a lease agreement with the owner of Pleasants Landing to open a 145-seat restaurant with bar.
Mike Vallerie told Lake Anna Life & Times his vision to have a restaurant at his down lake site will be realized this fall.
“It’s been a lot of work but we finally found what we think will be a good fit for the community and our facility,” he told Life & Times recently.
Vallerie had to expand the onsite septic system as well as install a full kitchen prior to solictiting restaurants.
When open this fall, the restaurant plans to serve Mexican themed cuisine and specialty drinks, offer boat-in dockage and sport a 50+ person patio with the best long views on the lake.
