One of the lake area’s busiest country stores has redone their logo, updated merchandising, added new inventory categories and cleaned up.

With the hiring of new store manager Terry Snyder, this spring the owner of Elk Creek Country Store says customers will find a renewed emphasis on merchandise organization and overall tidiness.

“She’s been amazing at getting everything done that needed to be done here,” Mike Rassawella told Life & Times.

As a store clerk, starting in January, Snyder took several months to understand the task, then started deep cleaning and organizing Elk Creek.

Seeing her energy and process, Rassawella named her manager this past spring. Snyder then moved and expanded the wine selection, created ADA compliant aisles, added more grab & go food options, restocked and rebranded the tackle room (Uncle Mike’s Bait & Tackle) and brought in more apparel.

Rassawella and Snyder have plans to expand the front deck, merchandise the front room and a beer cave is forthcoming.
