June and July are months where the lake is full of visitors all looking enjoy the Lake Anna lifestyle. After they hit the water to fish, swim, surf, tube or ski many will convene at a local restaurant. Karaoke Night at The Cove continues on Thursday evenings and we’re excited to report that Sunday Brunch will be served all summer long! Mimosas and Bloody Marys are brunch staples but you’re missing out if you’ve never tried their Mermaid Juice! Jerry Wimmer presents Bottom of the Barrel live on June 15th at 8pm and Kennedy O’Hanley will play on Fathers’ Day at 2pm.
Coyote Hole Ciderworks & Mineral Brewing Company holds their ever-popular Trivia Night every Thursday at 6pm. Bring your own team or join one when you arrive. Enjoy craft ciders and brews along with a full menu and don’t forget to order the donuts! Live music and other events such as Comedy Night & Line Dancing are popular among the locals.
Everleigh Vineyards & Brewing Company, a family-owned boutique winery, located on Route 33 just east of Cuckoo has created a fabulous outdoor music area along side the vineyard. Good Shot Judy will be playing on June 15 (get your tickets ASAP!). Flights of Everleigh’s own wine, beer and cider are available as well as their Frozé , a refreshing summer option. No need to bring you own food as there are many options to choose from on the menu.
Lake Anna Taphouse has special deals most days of the week. Monday is half priced pizza day. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday. Wednesday is Wing Day. Thursdays feature a burger special and $5 off Growler fills. Sundays feature bloody Marys and mimosas and don’t forget there’s a fabulous selection of coffees and ice cream creations at Cream & Caffeine. True Tonic will be playing the lakefront stage on June 14 from 6-9pm. Arrive early, order dinner and dance the night away.
Tavern on the Rail, just off the lake in Fredericks Hall is open Friday & Saturday for lunch and dinner. Fine dining meets eclectic décor in a historic building located next to the railroad tracks. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better fried oysters this side of the Mississippi.
Tim’s at Lake Anna will once again be hard-shell central and offering drink specials weekly. Check their Facebook page for daily offerings. The Crabcake BLT and a “Day at the Lake” cocktail enjoyed on the deck makes for a perfect pairing.
Elk Creek Country Store now has pork roll breakfast sandwiches that have been driving locals wild. A slice of this with a slice of cheese on a biscuit or roll is exquisite.
