Bruce Russell loves working on boats and cars. He loves it so much he created Precision Marine & Auto to permit him to do what he like to do best. Now in it’s second year at the lake, Russell’s shop is where many Lake Anna area residents are finding affordable auto repairs and a much-needed Virginia State Auto Inspection Station.
“I’ve been working on boats and cars for 30 plus years. It’s what I do. We just offered mobile repair service for nine years but when Sammy Bazzanella offered a building we jumped at the chance to serve this growing community, Russell told Lake Anna Life & Times.
The shop is located at Christopher Run Campground, just off Rt. 522 and offers a host of services including mobile marine repairs, boat jetski and trailer repairs, routine maintenance, outboard and inboard engine services, winterizations, electronics installation, boat detailing, upholstery repair and replacement, plus automotive and ATV/UTV repairs.
But what many Lake Anna area residents are most grateful for is the opportunity to get their cars and trucks inspected without having to make an appointment or wait for hours at a time to be seen.
Russell is a U.S. Army veteran with mechanic training as well as numerous technical certifications.
