March and April are months where the lake begins to come alive with spring breakers and anglers travelling to try their luck on the lake. All are looking to enjoy their preferred activies and also experience a good meal at a local restaurant. Here’s what our visitors and locals can expect at restaurants around the lake in the coming weeks and months.

    Coyote Hole Craft Beverages – Line dancing continues at Coyote Hole on Friday, March 15 and Friday, April 19 from 7 pm to 10 pm. There are free lessons and open dance, plus, built in breaks for refreshments. Coyote Hole’s popular Trivia Nights continue Thursdays at 6 pm. Booze & Brushes will be held March 13 at 6:30 pm. March 30 will bring an Adult Easter Egg Hunt to Coyote Hole at noon.

  Lake Anna Taphouse – Monday is half priced pizza day. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday. Wednesday is Wing Day. Thursdays feature a burger special. Friday has $2 off fish and chips meals, Saturday is Kick The Keg Day and Sundays feature bloody Marys and mimosas. On March 17 from 10 am to noon, Lake Anna Taphouse will hold a Cookie Decorating Class. Each participant will receive one free drink, six cookies and be provided everything needed to create outstanding treats.

  The Cove’s popular Sunday Brunch will continue 10 am to 2 pm featuring endless mimosas. Wednesday is half price burger day. Thursdays are karaoke nights.There are many live performances scheduled. See page 28 for dates and performers.

   Everleigh Vineyards & Brewing Co. has live music scheduled for March 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30. See page 28 for dates and performers.

   Tavern on the Rail, just off the lake in Fredericks Hall has all-you-can-eat pasta, breadsticks and salad on Wednesday nights and special meals with music and karaoke on selected Sunday evenings.

  Tim’s at Lake Anna invites you join them for Fish Fry Fridays through March 29. The menu specials include fish-n-chips, fried fish sandwiches (cod, catfish and rockfish), fried fish dinners and a rockfish dinner.

 Also worth noting is that the Tim’s Eat For Pete’s Sake fundraiser for the Louisa Humane Society raised $1,873.50 this year!

  Elk Creek Country Store has significantly reduced the number of skill machines and expanded the store’s selection of LKA Wear apparel.
