Home Point Lake Anna soft opened August 24th, the culmination of one local LKAer’s dream.
“Thank you to all who came out for our soft opening. I truly appreciate the support and very much look forward to meeting more lake lifers!”
Tammy Prestipino is a 50-something from Montgomery County, Maryland that has owned a home at the lake for 20 plus years and has raised three daughters on lake life. She has a background in interior design and owned/operated a boutique for nine years.
Home Point features new home furnishings, lighting, accessories, great gifts and Prestipino offers in-home design consultations.
Prestipino notes her favorite style is eclectic.
“I love color and mixing new transitional pieces with vintage. Our home here is a fun, vintage rambler, which we are always updating and adding onto.”
The new shop owner told L&T she feels the store will be a needed improvement for the area so homeowners won’t need to travel far to get the furnishings they need for a brand new home, or if they just want to update and change the space they’re in.
“Also, it will just be a fun place to go with great shopping. I plan to have some fun ladies night and wine night events. I like wine.”
Some of the furnishing lines she carries include Uttermost, Elk Home, Kaleen rugs and a new line from Tamara Day.
Store hours are Tues,Thurs,Fri 10-5, Wed. 12-7, Sat 10-3. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
The store is located in the Anna Point Marina complex. Visit HomepointLka.com for more information and updates as well as Facebook and Instagram.
