Dominion Energy has announced that André May has been named the company’s External Affairs Representative for the lake, Louisa County, the Town of Louisa and Town of Mineral. May replaced Sarah Marshall, who held the position for the past seven years.

  May has been with Dominion Energy for nine years. He started with Dominion as a member of the Customer Design team where he designed power delivery systems for customers across the company’s footprint. André joined the Central-Western State & Local Affairs team in fall 2023 where he supports the northern Piedmont and Fredericksburg regions of Virginia. Prior to starting with Dominion Energy, André worked in the private sector as well as served in the United States Army from which he received the Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and is a veteran where he served as a CBRN officer and achieved the rank of Captain. He earned a B.S. from University of Phoenix- St. Louis and M.A. from University of Richmond, is a proud Omega Psi Phi member, and currently resides in New Kent, Virginia.

   Marshall will continue with Dominion Energy and was named leader of the company’s Infrastructure Strategy team focusing on outreach for capital projects like small modular reactor development.
