Vintage Signs .... We are the region's dealer for customizable vintage signs. Stop by the shop to choose from our great selection of signs, add your personalized info and you'll have an heirloom sign crafted and shipped for your boat house, dock or lake house! These make the perfect gifts and take about three weeks from order to delivery.

Rentals & Rates
We can help you plan out a half or full day paddling route with logistical support and more. Give us a call to arrange your visit. We sell and rent sit-in and sit-on-top Emotion kayaks.
Single person boat is $20/half day and $30/full day 
Two person boat is $35/half day and $45/full day
Paddleboard is $25/half day and $35/full day
Paddles, PFDs and seats are available for rent at additional, modest fees.
Drop off and pick-up of kayaks is available for $20 within the LKA area.
We also have canoes for rent at $50/day.

Kayak Sales
We are now in season. Emotion has two new models for 2012 - the sit-in Envy and the sit-on-top Spitfire 9. Remember, we are the only stocking Diablo Kayak Dealer in the east, too. The 12' Adios and 10' Chupacapra are top-of-the-line fishing kayaks so wide (36") you can stand up to paddle or cast! Most of our 2012 inventory arrives in April. We'll be happy to order your new kayak if we do not have what you want at the shop.
The returing Emotion models include the awesome Mojo Angler, the Mojo, the Temptation, CoMotion, Spitfire 8, Comets, Bliss and Glides. The Temptations and Glides are our best-selling models. The Emotion Comet has just received a major national distinction by winning OUTSIDE Magazine's Top Gear Award. The economical Spitfire and Comet sell for under $300! Kayak Accessories
Lake Anna Outfitters is a dealer for Scotty rod holders, Malone kayak carrying and storage solutions, Stohlquist PFDs, YakAtack VisiPoles and Surf 2 Sumit products likes seats and other gear. We sell the Emotion line of paddles including the Blackjacks ($49), Slingshots ($59), Bolos ($79) and Kukris ($99). The Blackjacks and Slingshots are aluminum with two different paddle head designs. The Bolos are made of fiberglass and the Kukris are carbon fiber.
2012 Inventory
Adios. Coming in at 12.5' long and 36" wide this hybrid kayak/SUP gives you all the capabilities of a sit-on-top kayak while giving you the stability and ease to stand-up paddle. The Adios is a thermoform ABS watercraft that weighs 69 pounds and has a weight capacity of over 400 pounds! Great standard features like a stand up foot pads, bow storage compartment and foot pegs make this a fishing/paddling/duck hunting machine for even the biggest anglers. $1,499. Chupacabra. The Chupacabra is 10.5' long, 37" wide and 56 lbs. Just like its predecessor, this boat allows the paddler to sit or stand to paddle and fish, just in a smaller package. It can still handle plenty of weight without compromising draft, but appeals to smaller paddlers as well. Available in John Deere Green. $1,250. Special order plus Shipping Charge.

Envy. NEW FOR 2012 ... 11' long, 30" wide, holds up to 350 pounds. Weighs 49 pounds and comes with integrated and adjustable CRS sea system, two paddle keepers, new Solace aft deck hatch, bow and stern bungee storage and grab handles and foot pegs. Glide. Awesome sit-in kayak for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. 9'7" long, 28" wide and weighs just 37 pounds but holds up to 275 paddler! Bliss. A kayak specifically designed for smaller framed paddlers and a favorite with women, teens and children. Temptation. Our top selling sit-on-top at 10'3" long, 30" wide, holds up to 275 pounds. Mojo. The Cadillac of our Emotion kayaks at 12'4" long, 31" wide with a 325-pound capacity. CoMotion. A fun and stable kayak for two paddlers. 12' long, 32" wide and weighs 59 pounds with a capacity of 475 pounds. Add two low back or high back Emotion seats and it's like paddling a Lazy Boy! Center storage hatch option and bow bungee storage area. $599 + $20 freight
Traverse. The new Traverse paddleboard is hot. Stand up paddling is the next big thing. Emotion's newest offering at just under 10' long and 36" wide weighs 44 pounds and is an absolute blast to paddle. This is the NATION'S MOST AFFORDABLE PADDLEBOARD. Kayak Lessons
We also offer private, one-hour paddling lessons with seasoned instructor Moulton Avery for $35/person. Beginners can will learn paddle strokes, exit and entry techniques, saftey requirements and more, plus enjoy an end-of-lesson paddle on the lake. Customized lessons are available. Rate does not include rental equipment.
Guided Paddles
Guided trips for families are available. Three-hour trips for a minimum four paddlers are $30 per person, plus the cost of the rentals/gear/livery. We have a number of trip options to choose from including remote portions of the lake and eagle watching tours. Just email or call to set up your trip.
Guided Kayak Fishing Trips
If you'd like to go guided kayak fishing, we can do that as well. We have the lake's top fishing guide on staff with 20 years of experience guiding anglers here. Rates for a four-hour trip are $175/person. Rental kayak and fishing gear is included in the base rate. Just bring your fishing license, your own food and drink and get ready to have fun!
Guided Fishing Trips
If you'd like to guided fishing from a bass boat or center console for bass, striper or crappie we do that too. We have an arrangement with the lake's top fishing guide service. Rates and trip packages are at www.mccotterslakeanna.com. You can meet at High Point Marina and start your LKA adventure!
Lake Anna Kayak Club
The Lake Anna Kayak Club has an open membership policy. It is $30/year/couple to join or $15/person. You will receive an LKA sticker and LKA hat or coffee mug as well as be able to participate in all outings for free. Members also receive a 10% discount on kayak purchases. LKA Kayak Club Outings
Our 2012 events are now scheduled. We will paddle each month. Membership is just $15 and comes with a club t-shirt and LKA sticker. Some paddles you might want to attend include the Eagle Watching/Sunset Paddle, four Wine & Kayaks (3rd Thursday of May, June, July & August), the North Anna Expedition, the Moonlight Paddle and more. PADDLEFEST 2012- If you joined us for a a great day on Lake Anna celebrating the paddling lifestyle this past September you know it was a blast. This year we will hold PADDLEFEST on August 25 with opening ceremonies at 9 am. We will have paddleboard racing, slalom and kayak tug o war, paddleboard jousting, plus kayak and paddleboard demos, Lake Anna Winery tastings, food concession, LKA Wear on sale, paddling clinics and the PaddeFest t-shirt.
