Winter at Lake Anna means friends and family in for the holidays and some great nights out together dinning at local restaurants which are very grateful for all off season business.
Many of the Lake Anna community dining options hold weekly special events like trivia nights, bingo, dancing lessons, even taste and sip activities.
Special themed evenings can be found at many restaurants and New Year’s Eve at the lake will find a number of dinners and parties planned.
Here’s what you can expect over the next couple months.
Callie Opies Orchard Restaurant is planning their annual New Year’s Event dinner and party in the dining room and event barn. Tickets are sold for the dinner, party with live music and a midnight champagne toast.
The Cove will also host a New Year’s Eve party, plus offers brunch every Sunday from 11a-2p.
Coyote Hole has a weekend brunch service starting at 11 am, plus a Christms Market every Saturday in December starting on December 13 and a Christmas Cookie Decorating Class December 21.
El Gran Patron welcomes patrons to a Christmas Eve Mexican fiesta dinner.
Rosie and his staff at The Lion’s Den have a number of holiday events planned. On December 4, 6p they will hold an Ugly Sweater Party downstairs in the Speakeasy. On December 19 starting at the 5 pm there will be a special cocktail hour followed by a 6 pm dinner service as part of The Lion’s Den Christmas Gala featuring a four-course meal and festive decorations. Don’t forget prime rib night December 7, held every first Sunday of the month at The Lion’s Den.
Tim’s at Lake Anna will be the starting point of the annual LABP Lighted Boat Parade December 6. They also have the following daily specials: Margarita Monday, Why Not Wednesday, Shrimp Thursday and Friday through Sunday prime rib dinners and specialty bloody Marys. Vito’s On The Lake offers brunch Saturday and Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm. Tuesdays are half price burger day. The Lounge at Vito’s is open seven days a week.
Lake Anna Taphouse will offer pizzas for half off on Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Wing Wednesdays, Thursday appetizer and lager specials and a Fish Fry Friday.
