Local’s Summer is just around the corner at Lake Anna where the water is less busy and residents return to restaurants to enjoy Lake Anna life. Here’s what you can look forward to this late summer and fall.
The Lion’s Den 1837 will host performer Pat O’Brien September 3 at 6 pm. O’Brien plays classic and contemporary rock, pop and country in the RVA area.
Callie Opie’s Orchard will be updating the menu for the fall in September. Owner Mike Kavros noted the popular half priced burger night will return in December.
Tim’s At Lake Anna says Fall at the lake means it’s time to crack some crabs on the deck! Live music is also a part of the vibe at this popular area restaurant. On September 5 John Davison will perform at 7 pm. On September 11 Chris Hanks begins his set at 7 pm.
The Cove at Lake Anna will begin some offseason weekly specials in October. They include the Monday Steak Night where starting at 5 pm every Monday evening dinners can enjoy a 10 oz. New York strip with mashed potatoes- with or without gravy for $16.99. Guests can also add a side salad for $3 – basically half the price of each.
Taco Tuesdays is a special held from open to close every Tuesday featuring $4 chicken or beef tacos and $5 house margaritas. Wednesday is half-price burger day – all day from open to close. Choose from a hamburger, cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger for half the price with the purchase of a beverage. Thursday through Sunday The Cove often offers chef dinner specials that typically start at 5 pm. Follow the Cove’s social media pages to see the weekly chef specials.
Lake Anna Taphouse has weekly events like half-priced Pizza Monday, Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. They also host weekly live music performances on the Lake Front Stage. Watch social media for the announcement of their annual Oktoberfest event dates.
Coyote Hole/Prospect Drafthouse has food and fun with their weekly Boards, Bags & Brews on Wednesdays, Trivia Thursdays, and Karaoke Fridays. August 30 is the annual Fall Car Show. September 19 will bring the Lake Anna Bluegrass Festival to Coyote Hole. This October will mark the final Haunted Woods at Coyote Hole.
Vito’s At Lake Anna marks 11 years in business this season. Owner Rosie Taormina thanks the community and told Life & Times he and the staff will be making menu changes, serving changes and more this offseason.

Century Farm Market will hold their annual Fall Festival October 17 from 10a-4p. There will be a paint your own pumpkin contest, specialty fall coffees, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, vendors and hand-dipped ice cream.
