Visitors to the lake and locals alike will want to vist one or all of the farm stands that serve the region. Each has it own unique vibe offering a variety of farm fresh or locally sourced products.

   Here are four destinations that will help you serve an amazing, locally sourced meal during your visit or for when you want to indulge your guests.

   Century Farm Market operated by the Coleman family —beloved by both locals and visitors is farm to table business housed in a beautiful wooden building that features more than just fresh produce. 

  Fire up the grill and grab some of the locally famous Century Farms Tomahawk steaks, chorizo, brats and grillers. They’ve got your sweet tooth covered with a delicious specialty coffee and drink menu as well as hand-dipped ice cream from Richlands Creamery, tasty Nightingale ice cream sandwiches and slushies!

  One local farm family has brought back truly fresh produce and locally baked goods to the Lake Anna community. The Rigsby family is one of a handful of native locals that continue to farm generational lands around the lake. Mariann Rigsby is the owner/operator of The Farmer’s Family produce stand open on 1019 Mansfield Road, just off Rt. 522 near Wares Crossroads.

   The Market at Meredith Farm is an option for the lake community looking for all natural, locally produced farm goods.
