The Lake Anna Business Partnership (LABP) is now offering a “Lake Anna Card” for purchase that entitles the holder to special offers/discounts at area restaurant venues and funds the Young Leaders of Lake Anna LABP Scholarship Fund.
“We wanted to do something different to support our member restaurants and fund the Young Leaders scholarship. The Lake Anna Card is our answer and we think it’s going to be very popular among our locals and visitors,” said LABP President Ronda Guill.
The Lake Anna Card will be the same size, shape, and weight as a traditional credit card. However, on the back of the card, there will be promotions for 10 LABP food and beverage business members. The card can be used an unlimited amount of times at each of the participating members’ establishments. The card’s term will expire December 31, 2025, at which point LABP anticipates offering a new version for 2026.
Participating venues and other selected merchants around the lake will be selling the cards for $20 each. LABP is also working on an online purchase link. According to LABP, based on some of the promotion offers, it will only take a couple of uses of the card to recover the $20 cost.
The card features area favorites like El Gran Patron, Smokin’ Eddie’s, Cream & Caffeine, The Cove, Tim’s, Callie Opie’s, Mad Batter, Lake Anna Winery, The Cooling Pond, Lake Anna Taphouse, Vito’s/The Lounge.
“We feel like the card is a win-win-win because, 1) local residents and visitors will be able to enjoy some nice discounts, 2) LABP food and beverage members see an increase in traffic and loyalty and 3) we are hoping to raise tens of thousands of dollars for local scholarships and all profits will go to them,” LABP Board member Jim McCoy told Lake Anna Life & Times.
Residents and visitors can find the cards on sale at the participating restaurants as well as at area shops like Lake Anna Outfitters and Home Point Lake Anna.
