On the evening of July 27 an incredible coincidence took place that produced a photo of Lake Anna that has gone viral.
Flying into Dulles airport, Brooke Vinzce was looking out the window and asked her boyfriend if they would fly over Lake Anna because she saw something she thought might be the lake 20,000’ below.
Sure enough, the plane was flying over the lake, right after sunset when lights at lake homes and other landmarks were visible, along with the outline of all 17 miles of the lake, from the dam to the headwaters.
Vinzce managed to snap a few pics with her phone and submitted them to Lake Anna Life Publishing where after being posted to the the Lake Anna Life Facebook page the photo went viral, being viewed by over 500k people.
“I’m happy the photo brought joy to so many people,” Vinzce told Life & Times.
